THE DISTRICT 9750
HISTORY

There are almost two dozen districts in Australia,
and three cover the greater Sydney area, capital of
the state of New South Wales.
District 9750
incorporates the Sydney CBD, eastern suburbs, inner west
and southern metropolitan area, southwest to Camden
and Picton in the Macarthur region, and south
through Wollongong to Kiama in the Illawarra
region. It comprises over 50 clubs and near 2,000 Rotarians.

The first two clubs
formed in Australia were:
21 April 1921 - Rotary Club of
Melbourne,

7 May 1921 - Rotary Club of Sydney,
